The former gem buyer creates gourmet chocolates as pretty as jewels—and possibly just as coveted. Celebs scoop up the sweets at Boudar’s Wailea boutique as fast as she can craft them. She sources the best cacao from around the world, a collection that will soon include beans from her burgeoning plantation in Waikapū. This latest venture, Cacao Maui, aims to be agri-tourism at its most decadent: Visitors will revel in a delicious tour that includes the art of chocolate-making, its fascinating history, a walk through the cacao grove and, of course, exquisite chocolate tastings.
