THE PARTY With the ever-glamorous label Diane von Furstenberg as a partner, the Junior League of Honolulu threw its eighth annual “friend-raiser” gala, appropriately held on the traditional Japanese holiday of Girls’ Day. THE PLAYERS Jennifer Dotson, Carol McNamee, Vi Loo, Liz Chun, state Rep. Barbara Marumoto and Mary Worrall THE HIGHLIGHTS Along with the signature luncheon, the silent auction starred, of course, signature sacks from Calvin Klein, Coach, Kate Spade, Tiffany, and Tory Burch, as well as an African safari.
