ODC/Dance kicked of its Spring Season in style on March 15 with a sold-out Opening Night Gala. Guests enjoyed a lavish dinner at the St. Regis Hotel, followed by the world premieres of Breathing Underwater, featuring a live performance by cellist Zoë Keating with members of the Magik*Magik Orchestra and Transit, which features imaginative and offbeat prop pieces by The Crucible's bicycle artist Max Chen at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. Post-performance guests headed back to the St Regis for an After-Party cocktails, dessert, live music and a chance to toast the Company, choreographers and collaborators.
