For the second year, Modern Luxury Brides South Florida and The Caribbean and Fontainebleau Miami Beach celebrated “Afternoon of Bridal Luxury: Something Borrowed, Something Bleau.’” Brides and grooms gathered on a beautiful Miami Beach day where their day began at the hotel’s iconic Bleau Bar for welcome cocktails, live music and even a few surprises that included mingling with celebrity wedding planner, Diann Valentine. At 12 pm sharp, guests were escorted inside Fleur de lis Ballroom for a luxurious seated luncheon provided by the culinary masters of Fontainebleau with a gown presented by Silvia Tcherassi. Once lunch was complete, all were invited to enter the “Dream Up” showcase where local bridal experts came together to give future brides and grooms one-on-one access to everything they need for their big day. From dress to decor, guests got up close and personal with our local luxury partners who brought dreams to life. Brides also enjoyed a full beauty lounge with makeup touches, polish changes, and more. Grooms enjoyed an area completely designed for them, featuring the latest products from Molton Brown and Hot Shaves by Lapis Spa. All attendees left with a luxe swag bag with products from our participating sponsors and a mini cake from the pastry team at Fontainebleau.
Local wedding planners and partners teamed up to create seven themed wedding reception vignettes including || Nostro Sogno Toscano by Virginia Landi of Precious Moments Social Event, Painted Love by Robyn Baltuch, of Baltuch Designs, Romantic Renaissance by Danielle Blank of Atlas Party Rentals, Dark Romance by Sherley Jullot of Sherley J Events, Dapper Tribeca Chic by Alvin Catalan of Catalan Productions, Crystal Canopy by Dale Moore of Warren Moore Events and Shimmering Glam by Mandy Diaz of AFR Event Furnishings.
